Frequently Asked Questions
These are a list of frequently asked questions concerning MedStudentLearning.com and ResidentLearning.com. Click on the appropriate question to receive the answer.
MedStudentLearning.com and ResidentLearning.com are portals for all of CTI's medical student education courses. Information covers subjects such as buprenorphine, alcohol, genetics, and tobacco education.
Since medical students and residents do not require continuing medical education credits to maintain a license, MedStudentLearning and ResidentLearning courses do not award CME credits. All courses award a Letter of Completion.
Registration and the courses are free for medical students and residents. You may request a Letter of Completion once the course is completed and a score of 70% is achieved on the post-test.
Clinical Tools includes multiple measures in our modules to assess changes in knowledge, attitudes, self-efficacy, and intended behavior. We track this data for all users to assess the impact of our online curriculum.
Clinical Tools will not share your personal information with any third parties. However, if taking one of our modules is part of your required coursework, your measurement data (e.g.pre/post tests) will be reported to your professor upon their request.
The Resources Tab gives you the ability to navigate tagged resources relevant to addiction, alcohol, genetics, and tobacco.
In the About Us section, there is a brief overview of CTI, as well as a link to our corporate site.
The RSS link links you to RSS feeds from sources such as Google, Pub Med, Join Together, Med Worm, and Genetics magazine. The keywords used for these RSS feeds are: buprenorphine, alcohol, genetics, and tobacco.
The polls are opinion-based questions on various medical school topics. Participation is not required and all votes are anonymous.
The forums are an area of the website where participants can participate in discussions on various medical topics, as well as get to know the fellow users on the site.
